Join herbalist and educator Bridget Giuffrida for an immersive, hands-on journey into plant, earth, and ocean medicine designed especially for teens who are curious about nature, healing, and learning practical life skills.
This 3-month series invites young people to slow down, step outside, and build a meaningful relationship with the natural world—through plants, the sea, and seasonal rhythms.
What Teens Will Explore
•Plant medicine basics using gentle, local herbs and garden plants
•Ocean medicine including seaweeds, minerals, and coastal healing traditions
•Simple gardening and plant care skills
•Ethical harvesting and respectful wildcrafting
•Hands-on medicine-making projects teens can actually use and enjoy
•How herbs support the body, emotions, and everyday wellness
Each class is project-based and interactive, giving students the satisfaction of creating remedies and tools they can share with family and friends.
Herb & Nature Walks Included
This series includes three guided herb walks to deepen learning through real-world observation and exploration:
•Quail Hollow Ranch County Park
•Felton Public Library grounds
•Año Nuevo State Park (coastal and ocean medicine focus)
Who This Class Is For
•Teens ages 12–17 of all genders
•Curious, nature-loving youth interested in plants, wellness, and hands-on learning
•Students who can work respectfully and mindfully in a group setting
What to Bring
•A snack and water bottle
•Comfortable, layered clothing for outdoor learning
•Curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty
Herbal tea is served at every class.
This series offers teens a chance to build confidence, connect with nature, and learn ancient skills in a modern, grounded, and supportive environment—where curiosity is encouraged and learning happens through doing.
Tuition & Enrollment
Tuition:$325 per student
Includes all classes, guided herb & ocean walks, medicine-making materials, and supplies.
This small-group series is intentionally limited to create a safe, supportive, and hands-on learning environment for teens.

Save $30 per additional sibling
Payment Plan Option:
Two payments of $165
(First payment due at registration, second due midway through the series)
