  1. Wonderful Herbal Weekend 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Mar 2022

Spent a lovely weekend learning how to prepare herbal teas, oil infusions, tinctures, syrups, poultices, pills, balms and lotions. Lots of hands-on activities and hand-made goodies to bring home. Bridget shared her passion and immense knowledge with us and guided us as we formulated our herbal concoctions. The natural world around us abounds with such goodness and there's so much to learn. Treat yourself to this class, learn and enjoy!

  2. A fun, eye-opening class that gave me new skills -- strongly recommended 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd May 2012

I enjoy doing things myself where I can, and this class gave me the skills and information I need to make my own vitamins, calcium supplements, healing salve, disinfectant washes, cough and sore throat syrups, cold & flu fighting tinctures, and a lot more. I can even find plants for first aid in the woods around my house.

This class has a casual, comfortable, encouraging feel. It is smoothly combined with a hands-on “lab” component, so that we could experience the look and feel of every type of product we made. My husband and I are quite pleased with the effectiveness of the products I made in class.

This class really changed the way I think about medicines. Medicines are no longer the sole dominion of pharmaceutical companies; they are accessible; they can be cheap or even free from my own yard. They come from plants – herbs I can see and touch and understand! I feel very empowered to know how to make these medicinal products for myself and my family.
