What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented tea made with sugar, tea, and a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY). Originating in China over 2,000 years ago, kombucha spread along trade routes through Russia, Eastern Europe, and beyond. Taking the kombucha class with Bridget was an awesome experience.
I was able to walk away with more knowledge about the process and feeling more confident about doing this at home.
I enjoyed the hands on part being able to feel the scoby so I know what to look for. Also the tasting of different flavors of Kombucha.
Thank you yet again for another amazing class.

I recently attended Bridget’s kombucha class and have fresh insights into where I went wrong when I tried to make it on my own and failed. My husband drinks kombucha daily, and I took him with me to the class to ensure I didn’t forget any steps. Bridget provided a take-home kit to kick off our first batches and it’s looking really good! I have a few more days before I siphon off from my starter that Bridget sent home with us, and I can’t wait to try it!
I have taken several classes now from Bridget and each one is so enlightening. I highly recommend this for a fun and unique way to increase your aptitude around ways to use herbs.

Great class! We went to learn what to look for as we begin to develop our own home brewed Kombucha. I feel confident that I can repeat the process that Bridget laid out. Plus we got to try some of her delicious flavor combinations.

I've been buying from Sweet Herb Medicinals for many years. I recently decided to go check out Bridget's kombucha class. So glad I did. It was such an informative class and so much fun to gather with a group of women. I love to drink kombucha so I was intrigued to see the process of this delicious drink. We got to try many flavors and take home a starter kit which will help me on my journey.
