Herbalism for Youth ~ Teens is a 6-week, hands-on summer program designed to introduce young people to plant medicine, ocean-based healing traditions, herbal skincare, and nourishing food preparation. This small-group series emphasizes experiential learning, creativity, and confidence-building in a supportive indoor and outdoor environment.

Dates: Sundays, July 26 – September 6, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Boulder Creek, California

What Students Will Learn
Participants will gain foundational knowledge and practical experience in:
•Local plant medicine and gentle herbal remedies
•Ocean medicine, including seaweeds and coastal plant allies
•Ethical harvesting and responsible interaction with nature
•Basic gardening and plant awareness skills
•Herbal cooking using seasonal, nourishing ingredients
•Teen-focused natural skincare, including cleansers, masks, and balms
Each class is project-based, allowing students to create herbal preparations and products they can bring home and use.

This program is a great fit for teens who:

•They have difficulty working collaboratively in a group setting without support

This series is designed for teens ages 12–17.
Does my teen need prior experience?
No experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome.

Students will bring home herbal remedies, skincare products, and food-based creations, along with practical knowledge they can continue using.

In Boulder Creek, with additional field trip locations shared in advance.

Tuition is non-refundable due to limited space and advance material preparation. If a spot is filled from a waitlist, a partial credit may be considered.
